Head of Engineering (Fulfillment HOE)

Job Description for HOE

• Must have studied in reputed engineering colleges like IIT or NIT in CS or IT.
• 12+ years of experience mostly in product companies.
• Technically hands on leader. Someone who has worked in large product companies and later ventured in own startup is the right fit.
• Must have leaded end to end for at least one enterprise grade products.
• Develop vision and strategic direction aligned with customer needs, company strategy and growth, and overall product strategy.
• Includes the strategic vision for delivering cloud-native web and mobile applications through the full software development lifecycle: from ideation and road-map development to building robust production-grade solutions that scale with a high-growth user-base.
• Closely work with Product and Sales team to understand the right requirements from end customers.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding on AWS cloud stack (ECS, EC2, AWS Service Mesh, CDK).
• Experience working on NodeJS, MongoDB and Angular.
• Experience in Mobile Application development using Flutter, Kotlin or Swift.
• Hands on experience in Microservice based architecture.
• Experience building high performance and scalable platforms.
• Experience in building CI/CD and Continuous Automated Testing framework.
• AI, ML, NLP and Google Analytics is added advantage.
• Prior experience in developing infrastructure as a code is a big plus.
• Focus on making APIs and platform secure for unauthorized use and prevent hacking.

Fulfillment HOE

• Must have 2-5 years of experience working in Fulfillment Domain.
• Experience.
  ○ Building Aggregation Platform.
  ○ Building Delivery Platform.
  ○ WMS and Inventory.
  ○ Solid knowledge of various eCommerce platforms, Marketplaces and their APIs.
• Targeted Companies.
  ○ ShipRocket.
  ○ Swiggy.
  ○ Zomato.
  ○ Pickker.
  ○ Dunzo.
